The Social Media Genie

To begin evaluating social media I think you have to start by looking at your current sales communication options. We call people, visit their office, mingle at mixers and send email. The first three make it hard to avoid contact with people. Email is the easiest to avoid and yet we often use this as our primary way to market to the broadest audience.
Email seems like a great idea because there must be someone out their who needs your product now. The problem is that email is designed for one to one communication. It is often misused as a broadcast medium. When you use this medium for both tactics you dilute it’s effectiveness in both situations.

You can easily evaluate this principle by scanning your own mail inbox. How many emails do you delete without even opening? How many emails do you read only the first paragraph and save - only to delete it much later when your mailbox is too full? Tassy's Wings

A recipe from Tassy's Mom's.

Marinade is enough for 2 pans of wings.
Ingredients1 Cup sugar 1 Cup water 1 Cup soy sauce1/4 Cup oil1/4 Cup orange juice1/8 Tsp. garlic powder 1 Tsp powdered ginger DirectionsPreheat oven to 325.Put wings in a shallow pan in a single layer and cover with marinade.Cook 30 minutes, then turn over.Cook 30 minutes moreTurn over again and cook 20 minutes more.They are finished when they become a mahogany color.
